The restaurant atmosphere is good. The food is good. Server was fast and compliant. Only bad thing was the fake grandmas must be stopped immediately. #no sprinkled cheese. Didn't ask if I wanted sprinkled cheese to not.

Pretty good. I came here early morning the other day with my daughter, and service was good. They have a good selection of food, and I went with the baked rigatoni. I wasn't a fan. The menu describes it as a "rich creme cheese sauce", but I'd say it tasted more like sour creme. Maybe that's fancy word for sour creme, so that's my fault but who knows! I think my daughter had a 3 meat blend pasta and she really liked it.

The first time we went, we got the muscles with saffron and white wine. The chicken Parm and I got the Greek pizza. Slice the margarita pizza slice, and the kofta pizza slice. Everything was amazing. An absolute knockout. This food is so far one of two closest restaurants to authentic Italian that I've been to. Having lived in New York and travel the rest of the country. I would say this is the one of the closest to authentic good Italian pizza. In fact, we ordered it a few days later for takeout within the same week. our waitress was kind food came out. Quick service was pasted appropriately and the ambience is fun. I wish I had any pictures to share, but the food was gone before I could take any

Nice atmosphere; terrific service. The spinach and artichoke dip was delicious (and huge); comes with pita bread triangles. We got chicken marsala and baked ravioli with 4 cheeses. Both were delicious.

My last visit to SaZa was far from stellar but my husband had a coupon so we HAD to go. Things started off well when I saw Alfred walking towards our table. He was the bright spot of my last visit and I knew things wouldn't be horrible this time. I tell him that I remember him, we exchange a few pleasantries and he went to get our drinks while we decided what pizza we wanted. We went with the mushroom, spinach and ricotta pizza. It was a great choice - crust crisp but not too crisp. Thin but not too thin. It was perfect for folding in half and eating like I was sitting at the counter of any pizzeria in NYC. It was a white pizza and could have benefitted with a side cup of marinara but I will definitely order it again. The pizzas were quite pricey - ours was $26 - but it was 18" and had plenty of toppings. We brought half home and I'm already considering having it for tonight's snack. It definitely won't make it past tomorrow's breakfast. Once again, Alfred proved himself to be one of the best server's I've had in quite awhile. There were a few things that need a little change - you really shouldn't be charged so much, if at all for bread. Their bread just isn't that special. The overall menu prices were pretty expensive, especially for the more simple pasta dishes. With drinks, it wouldn't be unheard of to spend a hundred dollars or so on a meal for two. I was facing the wall so didn't get a good view of the interior but I hope it was cleaner than the top of the benches and windowsills. Speaking of the benches - the back wall is spanned by a long wooden bench. Well, not really a bench, more like a board stretched across a wooden base. A lack of attention and dim light caused me to just let myself plop on the hard board. Not much of a bother most times but I had just had my shoulder replaced a week earlier and my lack of graciousness while sitting down shot a wave of pain through my entire right side. The bench really needs some seat cushions. My husband spent our visit sitting on one of these benches. Cushions were the first thing that he mentioned when we left. I guess until there are cushions, just avoid the last row of tables across from the door. I am so glad that we gave SaZa another try. If nothing else, I got to be served by one of Huntsville's best. I'll definitely be back for pizza. I hope the pasta entrees are better than what we were served on our first visit. They must have gotten at least somewhat better, SaZa is still in business.

SAZA SERIOUS ITALIAN FOOD: A HAIKU Utterly cheesy, second rigatoni wins-- Wisconsin approved.

It's been busy for us lately so we went to SaZa Serious Italian Food to pick up one of their family to go specials. We ordered the Chicken Parmesan, house salad, garlic breadsticks, and large pepperoni pizza for $44.95. We also ordered calamari. They have the BEST calamari in North Alabama in our opinion. Actually they have the BEST Italian in north Alabama. The family meal deal is loaded with delicious chicken parm. The salad is over the top with lots of ingredients. We love the pepperoni pizza. The thin crust is chewy with crunch. The sauce on the pizza is fire! Both of us love the garlic breadsticks. If you haven't tried the food, you should. Start out with something you are familiar with and then broaden your tastes with some of the unique house specials. They have great food.

It's nice to be nice to nice people ... our server was AH-MAZING (sorry I do not know his name) -- we came in for appetizers at the end of our 'traveling dinner' -- eating at Taco Mama, then Moe's and finishing at Saza. We ordered: Ricotta Meatballs 1/2 order of Garlic Bread 8 Layer Cake This was all part of our anniversary dinner celebration and we were treated like family here. We had been here in the past and tried the spaghetti & meatballs and the house salad -- this place is always hustling and the staff is working so hard to move everything along. Bravo! Trying pizza tomorrow night:)
